Glazing Project Manager

Local, well-established, and rapidly growing Commercial Glazing Contractor is seeking a full time Commercial Project Manager for an immediate opening. The Commercial Project Manager is an integral part of our team who will work alongside clients, suppliers, subcontractors and office staff. They will manage multiple construction projects ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000 or more.


  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Develop full scale project plans, read architectural, shop drawings, specifications and cut sheets
  • Manage client satisfaction, project budgets, quality of work, and completion dates
  • Manage submittal process: prepare, submit and review returned submittals
  • Release and track procurements of materials
  • Project accounting functions, including preparing monthly requisitions for work performed, generally in AIA format
  • Manage close out procedures and documents
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Regular communication with clients, architects, owners, subcontractors, suppliers including job site visits, face to face meetings and written and oral communication
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Follow company policies and procedures to uphold our ethical and quality standards
  • Maintain project binder and computer files to include project documents, change orders, materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with client, subcontractor and supplier base
  • Analyze completed project for timeliness, quality, and budget vs cost


  • 3 years of Glass and Glazing industry experience preferred
  • 3 years of demonstrated on-site field experience in Glazing preferred
  • At least 1 year of Project Management experience is required
  • Ability to read architectural, shop drawings, specifications and cut sheets
  • Ability to manage submittal process and procurement/release of materials
  • Manage multiple projects, meeting client expectations, changes in scope, project budget and deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a positive approach and strong time management skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and customer focused
  • Strong computer, verbal and writing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, BIM, Procore, Bluebeam, Google Suite preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
  • Ability to travel inter-island as needed, occasional overnight work may be required
