Project Manager – Infrastructure / Industrial General Contractor

Responsible for estimating, budgeting, financial reporting, billing, planning, and scheduling of various types of projects. You will be required to properly administer contracts, modifications and change orders with Federal, State, local agencies and private clients. With the team members assigned to you, you will carry out project procurement in accordance with drawings and specifications and provide an accurate review of shop drawings in addition to vendor submittals. You must be able to analyze and plan detailed field construction activities and work with the field construction workforce to ensure that instructions are clearly communicated, goals are set, schedules are resource loaded and monitored and resources are on site in a timely manner and all safety and health safeguards adhered to. You will be responsible for the safety and financial success of projects under your management.
Skills and Experience Priorities:
Degreed Engineer with minimum 5-10 years' experience.
Ability to read; understand civil and mechanical blueprints, familiarity with general specifications codes and standards.
Ability to prepare shop and as-built drawings with CAD skills.
Computer literate, including spreadsheet development, estimating, budgeting, financial reporting, planning and scheduling programs, and word processing.
Strong project administration skills including knowledge of contracts, claims and change order procedures, document and record organization, vendor print review, drawing and specification controls.
Strong team player able to direct project teams, to communicate clearly and have strong writing skills.
Understanding of field construction methods and techniques and able to direct field forces to execute work in a safe and efficient manner.
Must have municipal, infrastructure, wastewater, water systems or like experience. Applicants with vertical construction experience only need not apply.
