We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of credit analysis and loan processing, as well as proficiency in loan origination software.

*Responsibilities*

- Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine eligibility for loan products.

- Guide clients through the loan origination process, explaining terms and conditions clearly.

- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and all relevant lending laws.

- Utilize lending and banking software to manage accounts and documentation.

- Conduct credit analysis to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.

- Collaborate with third parties and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing.

- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.

- Provide ongoing support throughout the life of the loans, addressing any concerns or questions.

*Requirements*

- A bachelors degree in business, finance, or marketing is preferred.

- Proven experience in loan origination or a related financial services role is preferred.

- Strong understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in lending software applications.

- Excellent analytical skills with a solid foundation in credit analysis and basic math.

- Familiarity with loan processing procedures is advantageous.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
