POSITION TITLE: Broker Relations Manager

DEPARTMENT: HiCentral MLS

FUNCTION

Responsible for strengthening broker relationships, building trust and enhancing collaboration with brokerage leadership. Conducts outreach and presentations to brokerage firms.  Promotes MLS & HBR on social media. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Broker Relations

  • Engage one-on-one with brokerage leaders to foster an open dialogue and identify opportunities for MLS & HBR to better support brokerages and their agents.
  • Understand concerns and priorities of brokerage leaders and help create solutions that drive trust, value and collaboration.
  • Increase broker awareness of MLS` & HBR`s mission, services and products. 
  • Reach out and collect data on large broker-owners, having conversations with them and listening to what they like, what they don`t like and what they`d like to experience in the future, including their agents` needs and how we can do things better.
  • Reach out and collect data on brokers in small-to medium-sized companies, looking at how we can improve our programs for them, including ways to help them manage their business more efficiently, retain their agents and make their agents more productive.

Outreach, Presentations

  • Provide support, input and collaborate with staff, as well as present, as directed, at HBR Regionals, Forums, and Broker Roundtables.
  • Continually build broker relationships, gather feedback and suggestions pertinent to MLS & HBR.
  • Works with, presents and trains, in collaboration with the MLS Client Success Manager to present new and existing products & services for MLS & HBR at firms and events.
  • Present in person or remotely to their new agent training programs. 
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintains a professional and positive image with enthusiasm for the work we do helping  REALTORS succeed.

Social Media 

  • Promotes MLS & HBR on social media, increasing followers on IG, Facebook, other platforms. 
  • Works with HBR Communications Manager to create content and increase social media usage, presence and platforms.
  • Help HBR increase membership to accept cell phone text messages for important messages on mandatory requirements 

IDX Marketing

  • Expand IDX Data Services to current MLS subscribers and 3rd party organizations.
  • Works with MLS System Analyst and Data Licensing Manager to conduct research, increase customer communications and provide solutions to IDX issues.
  • Help review contracts, agreements, and documents regarding IDX services. 
  • Make sales/marketing calls to 3rd party prospects as required.

Performs other duties as may be assigned.

SCOPE OF POSITION

  • Reports to the Director of MLS
  • Works closely with the Client Success Manager, Communications Manager, and System Analyst & Data Licensing Manager.
  • Has extensive contact with members and subscribers.
  • Use of personal vehicle for HBR and HCMLS business.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • Proven excellent communications and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce, educate, and deliver training to individuals, groups, and on a variety of products, services, emerging tools – i.e. social media, video.
  • Must be comfortable presenting to or instructing people of all professional and skill levels.
  • Meets deadlines. Team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment in the office and remotely.
  • Experienced in MS Office suite – PowerPoint, Word and Excel; proficient in iOS, Android, and associated basic apps; and comfortable with Zoom, MS Teams,
  • Proficient in basic video production hardware/software, mobile devices.
  • General knowledge of real estate industry and transactions preferred.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, lift 20 pounds, and perform typical office duties.

FLSA CLASSIFICATION

Exempt position.
