HECO Lawsuit is seeking an Analyst fluent in both English and Spanish.

The Analyst is responsible for executing critical components of the Case Management process: quality assurance, case development, case auditing, and case settlement. As the lawsuit reaches new milestones, the Analyst will develop into contributing to one of the phases of the case management process.

The Analyst will work directly with clients and will be responsible for information gathering, and follow-up data and document collection of an individual`s case. The Analyst will work diligently and thoroughly through the information, and documents received to ensure we have met the necessary requirements for the claims being made. An analyst will ensure we`re housing and tracking our client`s data accurately and properly. Analysts will be assigned audit projects to assist in maximizing our client`s financial recovery. Analysts are a critical component in holding corporations accountable for their actions by maximizing and validating the value of our client`s claims through the case management process.

An analyst is versatile, detail-oriented, and is deeply committed to building the most precise case on behalf of each client. An analyst will work empathetically with each client and provide a high quality client engagement service.

Success in this role is measured by the completeness of our clients documentation, data collection, data representation, and how engaged our clients are leading to minimal fall out rates.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execution of daily client preparation, tasks, meetings, follow ups, and auditing.
  • Conducts quality assurance tasks assigned based on the phase of the case and claims made on behalf of the client.
  • Completes inbound and outbound calls with clients to obtain additional details, complete documentation/questionnaires, and provide settlement status updates.
  • Files, tags, and audits client documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Gathers and interprets data to develop actionable next steps that will optimize case results.
  • Contributes to audit projects pre and post settlement to assist in maximizing client`s financial recovery.
  • Works with external partners such as experts, appraisers, and contractors to validate and maximize client`s claims.
  • Submits client`s case filing, and questionnaires prior to court set deadlines.
  • Attends and hosts community events for leads and clients.
  • Supports Community Outreach needs such as fielding phone calls, taking 1:1 appointments, and supporting weekly events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Spanish and English language fluency.
  • Bachelor`s degree or similar experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in the mass tort industry or similar role.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Concise and empathetic oral and written communication.
  • Strong ability to actively listen to understand, not respond.
  • Able to act with empathy, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Compassion and understanding for people in crisis.
