Position Overview

Limelight Hawaii is Honolulu`s newest entertainment and dining venue, featuring signature cocktails, à la carte dining, and full banquet events spanning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are seeking professional and guest-focused Hosts/Hostesses to be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an exceptional experience across entertainment shows, banquets, and daily dining service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, professional welcome and provide an introduction to the Limelight Hawaii experience.
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating for:
  • Cocktail and entertainment service in the showroom
  • À la carte dinner service
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner banquet events
  • Daily lunch service for groups and individual guests
• Coordinate seating plans to optimize guest flow, server sections, and event requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of venue layout, seating charts, and special event configurations.
• Answer guest inquiries about menus, show times, entertainment, and upcoming events.
• Ensure VIPs, group bookings, and special requests are accommodated seamlessly.
• Communicate effectively with wait staff, bartenders, banquet staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, lobby, and entryway.
• Assist with event check-ins, ticket verification, and pre-show guest coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess or guest service experience in a restaurant, hotel, or entertainment venue preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; polished, welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and POS platforms (Toast or similar) preferred.
• Professional appearance and commitment to hospitality standards.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
