Help Us Prep the Magic! Event Logistics & Operations Assistant

Island Craft Fairs is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Logistics & Operations Assistant to join our team. While our events happen on the weekends, the real work happens during the week to ensure every tent, cable, and banner is ready for action.

This is a part-time role (2 days a week) that is perfect for someone who likes a mix of warehouse work and getting out into the community.

What You`ll Be Doing:

• Van & Warehouse Management: Unpacking our cargo van after events and repacking it with precision for the next one.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conducting "health checks" on equipment. You`ll ensure electronics work, wires and cables are clean/coiled, and gear is in top shape.
• Inventory Control: Keeping our supply bins stocked so the weekend staff never runs out of essentials.
• Field Operations (The "Banner Run"): Twice a week, you`ll head to event locations to put up promotional banners in the surrounding areas and retrieve them once the event is over.

Requirements:

• Physicality: Must be able to lift 40-50lbs and enjoy "Van Tetris" (packing efficiently).
• Attention to Detail: You`re the type of person who hates tangled wires and empty supply bins.
• Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to handle the banner placements across various Oahu locations.
• Self-Motivated: Able to work through a checklist independently in the warehouse.

Schedule:

• Part-Time: 2 days per week (to be discussed, but usually mid-week).
