Job Summary

We`re looking for a skilled Tree Climber to join our Maui-based crew. Most of our work is performed on homes, resorts, and commercial properties. You`ll perform pruning, removals, and hazard mitigation using ropes, bucket trucks, and spider lifts. Our climbers work in a collaborative team environment with access to structured advancement pathways and high-quality equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Climb and prune trees using professional arborist techniques
• Perform technical removals and rigging in sensitive or high-traffic environments
• Operate aerial lifts, spider lifts, chainsaws, and chippers safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols in line with ISA and ANSI Z133 standards
• Support property safety, plant health, and aesthetic goals
• Work closely with crew leads and ground team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional climbing experience preferred
• Experience working around structures, utilities, and high-value landscapes
• ISA certification is a plus (ClimbingHI offers a path to help you earn it)
• CDL is a plus but not required
• Valid driver`s license and reliable transportation
• Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
