Account Executive

Commission-Based | Full-Time Conversion Opportunity

The Cake is seeking driven, results-oriented Account Executives to grow our client partnerships across creative, marketing, technology, and professional staffing.

This opportunity begins as a commission-only role with uncapped earning potential and a performance-based pathway to a salaried, full-time position.

We're looking for confident sales professionals who know how to open doors, build relationships, and close business.

What You'll Do

• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing.
• Build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers at leading companies.
• Identify hiring needs and position our staffing and talent solutions.
• Conduct discovery calls, client presentations, and business development meetings.
• Partner with recruiters to deliver qualified talent and successful placements.
• Manage sales activity, pipeline, and client relationships through CRM tools.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
• Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce preferred.
• Staffing, recruiting, creative, marketing, or technology industry experience is a plus.

Compensation & Growth

Initial 90 Days

• 100% commission-based compensation.

Potential Full-Time Conversion

• Base salary: $40,000–$75,000 DOE.
• Uncapped commissions.
