Sparks Group has partnered with a renowned government transportation contractor seeking an experienced Cash/Treasury Accountant to support daily treasury and cash management operations while the broader finance team focuses on implementing a new ERP system. This role will maintain day-to-day treasury activities within the current PeopleSoft Financials environment while supporting cash flow management, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, and ERP transition activities. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and cash movement across multiple financial accounts and products.
• Reconcile cash activity including wires, ACH payments, bank transactions, and general ledger postings; research and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Process and maintain financial transactions within PeopleSoft Financials, including Treasury/Banking, Cash, and Accounts Receivable activities, while supporting accurate billing and invoicing.
• Support ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives, including system testing, process mapping, SOP development, documentation, and transition to new Oracle Fusion processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve payments, settlements, transfers, and data issues while supporting audits, compliance, treasury policies, and departmental projects.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, banking operations, or a related financial operations role.
• Strong knowledge of treasury functions, including cash flow, liquidity management, bank reconciliations, cash movement, ACH, wires, and financial transaction processing.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials, particularly Banking, Cash, and/or Accounts Receivable modules.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or system conversions, preferably Oracle Fusion and/or a treasury management workstation, including testing and process documentation.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills, with excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.
• Experience developing treasury policies, audit deliverables, process maps, SOPs, and operational manuals.
• Experience supporting ERP data conversion and financial systems implementation.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $32.00 to $46.00
