Schedule: 2nd Shift
Monday-Thursday Possible overtime on Friday's

Olsten Staffing is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Florence, SC! This position is ideal for candidates with previous experience operating a handheld remote-controlled overhead crane in a manufacturing, steel processing, or industrial environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Operate a handheld remote-controlled overhead crane to transport steel materials throughout the facility.

Safely move materials while following all company safety procedures and policies.

Deliver materials accurately and efficiently to support production requirements.

Verify material information and maintain inventory accuracy.

Follow work instructions, production schedules, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Work independently when needed while demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

Previous overhead crane operating experience required

Experience operating a remote-controlled overhead crane

Manufacturing, steel processing, metal fabrication, or industrial experience preferred

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Forklift experience required

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift

Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment

Ability to safely work around moving equipment and production machinery
