Professional and Distance Education Programs (PDEP) is accepting applications for a part-time Lecturer appointment to teach online, graduate course(s) in the Master of Systems Engineering program. Duties include but are not limited to online course development in partnership with Ohio State Online, curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, and teaching. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and provide support for developing and teaching graduate students, depending on chosen candidate's degree certification. The appointment would begin in Spring 2027 for the 2026-27 academic year, continuing in future years based upon performance and enrollment.
All courses are taught online.

Education and Experience Requirements
• Masters degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering or a related area.
• Three to five years of teaching and/or industry related experience in the fields of Systems Engineering or relevant areas.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State's Shared Values.
