We're looking for a motivated communications professional to join the Global Media and Strategy Communications team to help drive key initiatives related to business strategy, financial communications and overall brand reputation. Under the direction of the senior manager of Global Media and Strategy, the ideal candidate will become a subject matter expert and develop compelling narratives that support the business area's strategy and key financial communications. This role will develop strategic content, coordinate integrated communications initiatives, and deliver tactics through a variety of both internal and external communications channels including Tier-1 media engagements. This position serves as a trusted communications partner across the Corporate Communications organization, collaborating closely with CEO/COO Communications, Investor Relations, Finance, Government Affairs, Legal, Global Business Development & Strategy, and business area communications teams.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing ability with strong business acumen, project management discipline, and intellectual curiosity. This individual is comfortable synthesizing complex business, financial, geopolitical, and national security issues into compelling communications that resonate with diverse audiences.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3+ years of professional experience. Experience in corporate communications, public affairs, executive communications, investor relations support, journalism, public policy communications, or related field. Demonstrated experience writing for executive audiences. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities. Ability to work independently under general direction while collaborating effectively across teams. Ability to travel as required.
Experience supporting communications within a publicly traded company, government organization, aerospace and defense company, or strategic communications consulting firm. Familiarity with financial communications, including earnings announcements, annual reporting, investor messaging, or corporate disclosures. Strong research and analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information quickly. Experience and/or desire to learn general web development for resource management. Excellent executive writing skills, including speeches, talking points, presentations, briefing documents, and messaging frameworks. Understanding of media relations, reputation management, and executive positioning. Knowledge of national security, defense, aerospace, technology, or geopolitical issues. Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency using Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and communications planning platforms.
