Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of CNA experience required
  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, or adult inpatient care preferred
  • Comfortable working in a hospital environment and assisting as a sitter on med-surg
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support daily living activities
  • Maintain patient safety and provide close observation as needed
  • Assist behavioral health patients with comfort, dignity, and engagement
  • Serve as a sitter on the med-surg unit when assigned
  • Report changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team and care team
  • Support a clean, organized, and therapeutic care environment
  • Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
