Student Academic Coach

Positions to support elementary, middle, and/or high school students enrolled in the ISD Virtual Academy. Advisors will:

• Monitor student progress on Edgenuity
• Conduct weekly virtual check ins with the student
• Maintain communications with the student and parent/guardian
• Support students in completion of school work and finding supports where needed
• Serve as a liaison between parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators
• Be available for questions/tutoring within their content area
• Provide virtual assistance to students with homework, projects, test preparation, research, and other academic tasks
• Document sessions with the student at a convenient time for both the child and teacher
