House Driver

The House Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel and local areas in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner using safe driving practices. Performs the daily responsibilities of these positions and assists where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests/visitors.

Responsibilities include maintaining complete knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards. Transporting guests to various facilities from/to the resort, keeping the vehicle clean, tidy, and filled with gas during shift, greeting guests in a professional and courteous manner, operating the vehicle in a safe manner, keeping the vehicle on schedule at all times, the ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods, flexibility to work shifts that will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, a warm and welcoming personality and willingness to engage with our guests, representing the company in a visibly professional manner, demonstrating pride and care in appearance and grooming, ensuring that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis, maintaining complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, anticipating guests' needs, responding promptly and acknowledging all guests, however busy and whatever time of day, maintaining positive guest relations at all times, being familiar with all resort services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately, resolving guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction, knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities, performing their job functions to the hotel's expected level of service, assisting Airport Greeters and Bell Staff whenever necessary in performing all job functions, accommodating all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner, and all other duties as required by Direct Manager and Supervisor.

Qualifications include minimum two years' experience as a driver in a luxury or ultra-luxury setting, a clean driving record, the ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, prioritizing, organizing, and following up, being a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment, following directions thoroughly, understanding a guest's service needs, working cohesively with co-workers as part of a team, working with minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data, thorough knowledge of hotel services and amenities, ability to compute basic arithmetic, providing legible communication and directions, ability to ascertain departmental training needs, required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred, and the ability to exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.

Salary: $24.65 per hour
