Quality Analyst III

Location: Denver, CO / Remote

Performance focus summary: The Performance Lead will provide technical strategy and solutions to ensure the OneView remains highly responsive for DaVita physicians. This individual will act as a subject matter expert for our GCP environment, identifying bottlenecks in response times (patient data retrieval, microservices, and databases) to ensure a frictionless rounding experience.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• Technical strategy: Define and lead the technical strategy for cloud-native performance testing and optimization for OneView applications (OVBS/OVSS) hosted on GCP.
• System optimization: Focus on high-volume transactions and data-heavy workflows (e.g., loading historical lab values, rendering patient metrics, pulling data from Spanner, etc.).
• Statistical analysis: Leverage industry standards and statistical concepts to analyze large datasets, identify performance degradation, and forecast system behavior under peak clinic hours.
• Team leadership: Lead a team of 4-5 Performance Engineers, providing guidance on strategy, solutioning, and advanced execution using tools like LRE, JMeter or Gatling.
• Executive communication: Communicate complex technical findings, risks, and Performance metrics to PEX management and executive leadership in broad settings with actionable insights.

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Performance testing.
• Cloud expertise: Expert-level knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) observability and performance tuning.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present to IT stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing a small team of engineers in a high-pressure, clinical, or financial environment.
