QA Specialist

As our QA Specialist, you'll help ensure the quality and accuracy of our internal datasets through hands-on review work. You'll examine data, make judgment calls on accuracy, and flag issues to the team. You will:

• Review datasets systematically to identify errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies, ensuring data meets quality standards before it's used downstream
• Make judgment calls on data quality based on provided guidelines and runbooks, applying critical thinking when information is ambiguous or doesn't fit neatly into existing categories
• Document and surface issues clearly to internal team members, providing enough context and detail for the team to understand and act on your findings
• Follow established QA checklists and protocols to ensure reviews are thorough, consistent, and aligned with team standards
• Flag edge cases, patterns of recurring issues, or ambiguous situations to the team for clarification, helping to refine guidelines over time
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across high volumes of review work, staying focused and detail-oriented even with repetitive tasks
• Update existing runbooks and create new ones with instructions and examples when necessary to ensure the same QA process is repeatable by other team members

Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail, thorough approach to reviewing information
• Good judgment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working with data in Excel/Sheets and able to maintain quality over repetitive tasks
• Clear written communication skills for documenting issues

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in QA, data review, or data entry
• Familiarity with SQL or other data tools
