This full-time, permanent role in Honolulu involves checking traffic signal and camera construction to ensure it meets required standards, identifying and correcting construction problems, coordinating signal activation and changeovers, and estimating completed work and repair costs.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Four years of journey level electrician or related experience involving the installation, maintenance and repair of traffic signal equipment. Must be able to:
LICENSE REQUIREMENT: 1. Valid Driver's License (Type 3). 2. Current State of Hawaii Journey Level Electrician's or Specialty Electrician's License. NOTE: Applicants with an out-of-state license must obtain Hawaii licensure prior to appointment.
