Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Kamuela, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: A Nuclear Medical Technologist position is available in Kamuela, Hawaii. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position is expected to start on July 20, 2026, and involves rotating shift hours. Job Details: Location: Kamuela, Hawaii Schedule: Rotating, 10 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Completion/Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Technology program; current Hawaii license as a Nuclear Medical Technologist; current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP) level certification; one (1) or more years of staff experience in Nuclear Medicine; experience demonstrating knowledge of nuclear medicine physics and computerized systems, safety protocols, strong communication skills, and critical thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with at least one (1) year staff experience and who have completed one or more travel assignments of 13 weeks or longer will also be considered. Additional Information: Willingness to be skill-validated at the main campus on Oahu, with travel expenses covered. Compliance must be met 10 or more days prior to the start date; failure to comply may result in assignment postponement or cancellation. Submission of a current NURSYS report is required. Responsibilities include performing nuclear medicine procedures, maintaining safety standards, and effectively communicating with medical staff. The assignment may also require filling in as a nursing assistant or safety sitter if RN duties are not needed.
