Overview
We are seeking two highly experienced ServiceNow professionals to support a strategic Department of Defense initiative within the INDOPACOM environment. These resources will play a critical role in helping the customer transition from an IL4 environment to an IL5 enclave while laying the foundation for future IL6 (Air-Gapped) operations.
The selected candidates will provide technical leadership, platform architecture expertise, implementation guidance, and knowledge transfer using a train-the-trainer methodology. This effort includes stabilizing existing ServiceNow capabilities, deploying new modules, and supporting long-term ServiceNow platform growth across the Pacific theater.
This is a high-visibility opportunity with significant potential for future expansion and follow-on implementation efforts supporting mission-critical DoD operations.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Modernization & Secure Environment Support
Support customer migration from IL4 to IL5 ServiceNow environments.
Assist with planning, architecture, and implementation strategies for future IL6 (Air-Gapped) ServiceNow deployments.
Provide expertise on ServiceNow deployments within secure government and DoD environments.
Develop governance, operational processes, and platform standards to support long-term scalability.
IT Service Management (ITSM)
Stabilize and expand ITSM capabilities within the IL5 environment.
Improve incident, request, problem, change, and service catalog processes.
Establish best practices for operational support and service delivery.
IT Asset Management (ITAM)
Deploy and mature Hardware Asset Management (HAM) capabilities.
Deploy and mature Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities.
Establish asset governance, lifecycle management, and reporting processes.
Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
Stabilize existing SPM implementations.
Enhance project, portfolio, and resource management capabilities.
Design and implement frameworks to support future expansion into IL6 environments.
Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
Improve and stabilize HRSD employee workflows.
Optimize user adoption and process maturity.
Develop training materials and operational procedures.
Legal Service Delivery (LSD)
Lead deployment and configuration of Legal Service Delivery capabilities within IL5.
Support workflow automation and service delivery modernization initiatives.
Knowledge Transfer & Training
Execute a train-the-trainer methodology to enable customer self-sufficiency.
Create documentation, training materials, operational runbooks, and governance artifacts.
Mentor government personnel and platform administrators.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance.
8+ years of ServiceNow implementation and platform experience.
Experience implementing and supporting multiple ServiceNow modules including:
ITSM
ITAM (HAM/SAM)
Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
HRSD
Legal Service Delivery
Experience supporting ServiceNow within DoD, Federal, or highly regulated environments.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and governance.
Experience leading enterprise-wide ServiceNow transformations and modernization initiatives.
Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and technical teams.
Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting IL5 and IL6 ServiceNow environments.
Experience with Air-Gapped ServiceNow deployments.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect preferred.
Experience supporting INDOPACOM, DoD, Intelligence Community, or other military organizations.
Previous experience utilizing a train-the-trainer delivery model.
