Key Details:
Maintain strong partnership with Sales Department; collaborate on planning and execution of special events (e.g., outdoor events, Easter egg hunts, relay races)
Oversee day-to-day recreation operations: pools, lagoon, cabanas (including budgeting and staffing); able to step in as attendant when needed
Strong administrative focus: reporting, forecasting, and business analysis
Lead daily morning lineup with team; review forecasts and plan activities
Coordinate and oversee execution of all recreational activities with team
Role split: 70% hands-on operations / 30% administrative responsibilities
Drive business growth with entrepreneurial mindset; identify new revenue opportunities
Shift Pattern: Onsite AM PM
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 and is based on specialized experience and location.

The Recreation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the team and services for the 4-acre ocean fed lagoon and pools. Additionally, developing/creating daily guest activities contributing to the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
