Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Cook III to join our culinary team. The Cook III will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards set by the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cook, proficiency in various cooking techniques, and a passion for delivering exceptional food to our customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook or Line Cook
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
