Director Of Food & Beverage

The Director of Food & Beverage provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the resort's Food & Beverage Division. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and an elevated guest experience across all outlets, while developing and inspiring a diverse leadership team. Reporting to the Resort Manager, the Director of Food & Beverage partners closely with the Executive Chef, Planning Committee, and senior leaders to ensure innovation, consistency, and long-term growth.

What You'll Do

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Food & Beverage Division, ensuring long-term growth, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Food & Beverage leaders and teams while upholding Four Seasons cultural values and service standards
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, and inventory control with a focus on financial performance and creative revenue generation
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence throughout the operation, building meaningful relationships with guests, regular patrons, and internal partners
  • Collaborate closely with the Resort Manager, Executive Chef, and Planning Committee to design menus, wine programs, and amenities that balance quality, innovation, and value
  • Ensure consistent compliance with Four Seasons standards, policies, and local regulatory requirements
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to support seamless resort operations

What To Bring

  • College degree in hotel/restaurant management, business administration, or equivalent professional experience
  • Five to seven years of progressive leadership experience across multiple Food & Beverage department head roles
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Food & Beverage operations within luxury or upscale hospitality environments
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Deep operational knowledge of food & beverage service, guest experience standards, and team development
  • A visible, people-focused leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
  • Ability to obtain all required food handling and alcohol service certifications
