iWorld Professionals is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for our client in Rochester NY. If you are an experienced Oracle Database Administrator who can work well remotely with the ability to be in the Rochester NY office occasionally, then this is the role for you!

Senior Oracle DBA Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software
• Maintain development, test, QA, and production database environments
  
  
• Monitor database performance and optimize resource utilization
  
  
• Manage database backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning
  
  
• Perform SQL query analysis, performance tuning, and optimization

This role supports a robust enterprise environment including:

• Oracle Database 19c running on Oracle ASM
  
  
• Oracle Data Guard environments
  
  
• Upcoming Oracle 19c ? Oracle 26ai upgrade project
  
  
• ~5 PostgreSQL servers
  
  
• ~60 Microsoft SQL Server instances

• Assist with data migrations, integrations, and replication activities

Senior Oracle DBA Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  
  
• Expertise with: Oracle Database (19c or later) and Oracle Enterprise Manager
  
  
• Experience with SQL Performance Analyzer and SQL Tuning Advisor
  
  
• Strong scripting skills for automation and database operations
  
  
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment in Rochester, NY
