Location-Type: Onsite (Houston, TX - 4 days/week, Remote- 1 day/week)

Compensation Range: $40-64

JobDescription:
The Jr Business Analyst will support operational and technology initiatives by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and assisting with solution delivery in an Agile environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements from stakeholders
• Support Agile ceremonies and maintain tasks and stories in Jira
• Assist with analysis of logistics and routing data to support operational improvements
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Help document workflows and business processes across systems and teams
• Support proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and emerging technology projects
• Communicate progress, risks, and updates to internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  
  • 3+ years max of Business Analyst experience
  • Recent experience working in Agile environments and using Jira
  • Basic knowledge of AWS or cloud-based systems
  • 6+months professional experience within logistics, transportation, or routing-related domains
  • Recent experience with SQL. Experience analyzing routing data, operational workflows, or analytics tied to transportation systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to quickly ramp in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional experience with AI concepts and emerging technologies
  • Bachelor's degree
• Nice-to-Haves:
  
  • Experience supporting proof-of-concept (POC) or innovation initiatives
  • Exposure to operational analytics or optimization tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
