Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). The candidate demonstrates deep expertise in configuring complex workflows and building scalable enterprise solutions .
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
- Configure, customize, and enhance ServiceNow HRSD modules including Case Management, Lifecycle Events, Employee Service Center, HR Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop and maintain core ITSM functionalities such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management modules.
- Implement and optimize ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and cloud discovery across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and Service Portal/Employee Center components.
- Design and develop robust, scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React.js for cloudnative environments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to architect solutions, optimize performance, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure platform reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- 8-12 years of overall development experience, including strong handson work with ServiceNow HRSD, ITSM, and ITOM modules.
- Proven expertise in ServiceNow configuration and development, including HRSD implementations, ITSM workflows, ITOM Discovery/Service Mapping, and integration development using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong fullstack engineering background with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React.js, and experience building cloudnative applications using AWS or Azure along with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
