Role Overview
This is a role for someone who values precision, structure, and quiet focus. As the link between blueprint data and actionable project plans, you'll work primarily with technical documents-turning complex drawings into exact, reliable take-off lists. You'll have the autonomy to plan your work, dive deep into details, and ensure every calculation and notation is correct. Your contributions will directly shape the quality and accuracy of our proposals. This position can be onsite or remote. Candidates with architectural millwork experience will be heavily favored.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze blueprints and project files to identify, quantify, and clearly define all relevant building components provided by E.F. San Juan, Inc.
• Build organized matrices for each project to ensure complete and systematic coverage of every detail.
• Develop precise clarification lists to resolve uncertainties before finalizing take-off data.
• Prepare well-structured Project Summaries for use by field representatives, project managers, or homeowners.
• Submit complete take-off matrices and supporting notes for supervisor review-ensuring the work is consistent, clear, and ready for use.

What You'll Bring
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, vendor catalogs, and project files with a high level of accuracy (training provided if needed).
• Competence in mathematical concepts such as geometry, algebra, fractions, percentages, and ratios-applied directly to measurement and quantity calculations.
• High level of concentration and ability to sustain focus for extended periods without errors creeping in.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, network-based tools, and standard measurement/office equipment.
• Strong personal organization and ability to set priorities without requiring close oversight.
• Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential or sensitive information.
