Job Description
Pay: $55.00- $75.00 per hour DOE
We're hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer to design and lead HVAC systems for data centers, industrial facilities, and advanced environments. This role provides technical leadership, mentors junior staff, and collaborates across disciplines on complex projects.
What You'll Do:
- Lead HVAC system design (chilled water, cooling systems, ductwork)
- Develop design criteria, calculations, and construction documents
- Create P&IDs and system layouts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior engineers
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
- PE License
- 7+ years HVAC design experience
- 2+ years data center HVAC experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards
- Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace experience
- Plumbing/utility systems design
