Description:
- Extensive experience in migrating Oracle databases to the AWS cloud platform, specifically with in-depth knowledge of AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and Oracle Database.
- Proven experience in Oracle database administration and migration, with at least 10+ years of hands-on experience.
- Expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly AWS DMS and SCT.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Terraform (IaC) and AWS Lambda functions.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and orchestration tasks.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
- Plan, design, and execute Oracle database migrations to AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Utilize AWS DMS and SCT to convert schema, migrate data, and ensure compatibility with AWS cloud services.
- Develop best practices, documentation, and training materials for Oracle to AWS migration processes.
- Stay current with AWS services, Oracle technologies, and industry trends related to database migration and cloud computing..
