Position Summary
This position is accountable for development of advanced automation solutions within the Power Grid Operations Distribution (PGO-D) system. Your role would be developing, testing, and commissioning of planned island (microgrid) automation controllers, energy storage gateways, high-speed switching edge controllers, and other non-standard projects. The Lead Engineer is at the specialist level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve complex problems, manage work, and provide leadership to others in engineering areas of specialization, with minimal supervision and increased latitude for un-reviewed work.
Responsibilities
The Automation Lead Engineer role will be a technical leader in the company accountable for the development and integration of project settings/configurations for non-routine automation control projects outside the substation with PGO-D.
