The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a Billing Coordinator for a full-time position in Chattanooga, TN.

Minimum one year experience in the medical billing and receivables environment, including direct follow up on insurance claims. Proficient in insurance denials and in the understanding of CPT codes, ICD-10, and CCI edits. Required to understand how to call and communicate appropriately to insurance companies regarding denials, understand how to submit a claim and a corrected claim accurately, understand EMR software and work claims from an assigned bucket worklist. Maintain benchmarks sent for the department for A/R, claim count and productivity. Must use good judgement and make sound decisions. Must communicate with management when claims are taking longer than expected to resolve. Must be a team player.

Remote position - must be within 90-mile radius of Chattanooga, TN.

No nights/weekends/holidays.
