Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Director of Institutional Giving Manager to lead and expand Our Common Home's portfolio of foundation funders across Europe, the U.S., and beyond. This is a senior-facing role focused on managing and growing large, complex institutional grants and building durable, multi-year partnerships with major foundations that support the organisation's long-term growth.
This role focuses on strategic donor cultivation, renewal, and acquisition, with an emphasis on building long-term, values-aligned partnerships that support our mission and growth.
This is a senior-facing role responsible for managing and deepening institutional partnerships, stewarding relationships through compelling communication, consistent engagement, and high-quality reporting. The role involves growing our pipeline of institutional donors-especially beyond traditional climate philanthropy-and serving as a trusted partner to senior leaders within funder organizations.
The Institutional Giving Manager will also act as a key internal resource, advising and supporting teams across the organization in navigating funding opportunities, shaping proposals, and ensuring alignment with our mission and values. While the primary focus is on private foundations, this role may also support the exploration of public and corporate funding opportunities.
