The Senior Accountant is the accounting professional responsible for managing the budget process and general ledger, preparing and analyzing financial statements, assisting with audits and tax filings, supervising the Junior Accountant, and supporting month-end and year-end closes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor, guide, or cover (if needed) the Junior Accountant's daily activities. Manage the budget tool and assist other Business Service managers with the budget and forecast vs. actual monthly review process. Responsible for Fixed Asset depreciation file maintenance (FAS) and checking the journal entries. Calculate attorneys' monthly origination fee and providing the file to the Senior Payroll Analyst. Checking the month end analysis, journal entries and bank reconciliations. Prepare and submit the monthly and annual financial reports to management. Prepare and submit the quarterly financial reports to the bank, in compliance with loan covenants. Responsible for PTET, UBT, CRT, and all other state payments.
