A well-established real estate organization is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting operations and support leadership across a diverse real estate portfolio.

This role partners closely with executive leadership, asset management, and property operations, while leading day-to-day accounting functions. The Controller will own monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance, while ensuring accurate financials across multiple entities and properties. This position plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and scaling financial processes in a dynamic real estate environment.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in real estate accounting or property-based finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP, multi-entity accounting, and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Experience overseeing month-end close and working with external auditors
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with property management or real estate accounting systems
