Project / Program Manager

Duration: March 2026 - December 2026, extension based on performance

Location: Remote

Schedule: M-F, 8-5, 40 hrs/week

Position Overview

This role supports a large, multiyear initiative and blends responsibilities typically found in both project management and program administration. The Project/Program Manager will oversee smaller programs or defined phases of larger initiatives, ensuring activities align with established goals, timelines, and outcomes. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, highly organized, and comfortable working across pharmacy and government program operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer smaller programs or program phases to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Assess operational needs and coordinate resources to strengthen existing programs.
  • Track progress of program components to ensure goals, schedules, and expected benefits are achieved.
  • Prepare and present program results through reports, presentations, and outcomes documentation.
  • Recommend and implement process or program changes to improve performance.
  • Support budget oversight, ensuring expenditures align with approved allocations and spending plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor contract performance, including servicelevel adherence (as applicable).
  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and file management.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree where applicable).
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • In lieu of a degree: 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, sorting, and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience in program or project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in healthcare or insurance.
  • Experience supporting administrative functions with strong data skills.
  • Local to NC, VA, or SC (preferred but not required).
