Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Overnight Front Office Manager to oversee all aspects of front office operations during the overnight shift at a luxury resort property. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures, maintaining brand standards, and leading a small overnight team focused on exceptional service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overnight front office operations, ensuring all standards and procedures are consistently maintained.
• Provide leadership and direction to overnight staff including front desk, concierge, bell, and security support.
• Ensure all guest interactions are handled promptly and professionally, resolving issues and service recovery situations effectively.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services, policies, rates, and occupancy levels to support operational needs.
• Monitor and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, billing accuracy, and night audit functions.
• Conduct nightly property walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
• Prepare and adjust staff schedules, monitor attendance, and coordinate shift coverage as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, including financial transactions, guest incidents, and shift reports.
• Train and coach overnight team members to deliver consistent, high-level guest experiences.
• Collaborate with day leadership teams to communicate any operational updates, guest feedback, or maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Supervisor or Assistant Manager, ideally in a luxury or upscale resort environment.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with property management systems and front office software.
• High attention to detail, professional demeanor, and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities overnight.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
