Provide support to the Government ensuring that all property will be managed IAW DODI, FAR, and Army standards.
Prepare physical inventory documents for Government property and provide them to Government Stock Record Officer (SRO), Property Book Officer (PBO), and or Accountable Property Officer (APO) IAW CPE IEW&S-provided property accountability procedures.
Support logistics audits and audit readiness testing by completing such actions as collecting existing auditable documents for assessment, examining documents for completeness and proper annotation, verifying document numbers (transactions) and submitting documents to auditors for review.
Conduct recurring and special physical inventories of Government property as scheduled by the APO IAW CPE IEW&S-provided property accountability procedures.
Process physical inventory/accountable property record adjustment documents.
Develop Department of Army (DA) Forms 2407s and 2407-1s for Government property maintenance requests.
Maintain Government property receipt, shipment, storage, lateral transfer, and loan documentation in Government Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSRs) IAW CPE IEW&S-provided property accountability procedures.
Perform asset management of Government property on organization hand receipts/storage locations/custodian reports in Government APSRs.
File and retrieve Government property issue and turn-in documents, including DA Forms 2765-1, IAW CPE IEW&S-provided property accountability procedures.
Conduct and report serial number and unique item tracking.
Maintain DA Forms 1687s IAW CPE IEW&S-provided property accountability procedures.
Prepare and staff documentation for Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs) IAW CPE IEW&S-provided property accountability procedures.
Catalog Government property in systems, such as the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program, or AESIP.
Search catalogs, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or to find authorized substitutes for stock items.
Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation units, and others to obtain material status information, follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material to work sites.
Process documentation for stock item receipts, maintain such items in a supply room or similar storage area, issue material to shop or work center personnel, keep local stock records, prepare standard reports such as variances between actual and estimated costs, and perform related stock receipt, storage, control, and issue functions for expendable and non-expendable items.
Identify requirements, issue, or distribute office and administrative supplies, forms, publications, or other printed materials.
Maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property and perform standardized property management control processes.
Utilize personal computers to perform records search, data input, and data corrections.
Monitor paperwork and records associated with receiving, storing, issuing, replenishing, or inventorying equipment.
Lift up to 50 pounds in order to move property to designated locations
Education/Experience:
HS diploma or GED.
A minimum of 2 years related work experience.
Catalog Government property in systems, such as the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program, or AESIP.
