Cabling Project Manager needed for a 1-2+ year contract hybrid in Los Angeles, CA!

Our client is looking for a Cabling Project Manager with LAUSD or K-12 experience, to track and manage various cabling projects within the district.

Requirements

• LAUSD or K-12 Experience required
• PMP Preferred
• Min of 5 years' experience
• Proficient in network design - plus
• Leadership communication / social skills
• Multiple project - fast pace
• Remote/onsite: Hybrid but some days will be onsite - but must be onsite every Monday for an in person (every Monday- if they go in may not be every Monday) Work schedule: Flexible 8am - 5/6pm.
• First 2 days of training will be onsite in Rancho Cucamonga.
• Certified scrum master, must be able to prove proof of certification

• Have experience in managing fiber optic or digital cabling.
• Experience with school districts K-12 or sled and network management. network hardware with WLAN/LAN.
• Experience installing UPS and camera installations.

• Day to day/what project they will be working on: project plans/ scheduling / face to face meeting/ meetings with internal sales team - throughout the week / immediate response to client/ cannot be sitting on request/ understand questions and get team involved
• No direct reports
• 60% project based 40% technical - Understanding what in the project scope / does not have to be very technical but it would be a plus / UPS - MANAGING (CCNA,CCNP, CISCO Certs) be able to communicate with technical resources on issues.
• Team goes out and does the work / get daily updates - what they did that day
• Tracking details of the project/ stage - burn in equipment/ expedite equipment/ meeting with vendor weekly
• Installing/test and acceptance
• Responding to districts within an hour max.
• Platforms: smart sheets/excel/SharePoint
• DOJ Background check must be cleared
