A client of Insight Global is looking for a short-term contractor to assist within their accounting department while their full-time employee is out on leave. This contractor will assist with general accounting tasks like bank reconciliations, assist with month end close work, balance sheet reconciliations, and in the off weeks will over see specific banks for their transactions to ensure daily transactions are being coded properly. They will interact with other teams including treasury as well. This is a fully remote role but candidates must sit in AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, or WY.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3-5 yrs minimum of general accounting experience
• Experience with reconciliation and bank transactions
• Organized, disciplined, and great with time management
• Experience with excel- pivot tables, vlookups, etc
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Healthcare experience
• Workday experience
* Cash related accounting experience
