Job Description: Data Management - Contingent Resource: Covers jobs that drive oversight, governance, and management of critical data to support business needs, initiatives, and strategies. Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to set standards, policies and practices for data flow, data framework, data access, documentation, quality and remediation. This sub-family is specific to contingent resources.

Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management
Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking
Provide expertise to *** senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions
Strategically engage with *** personnel.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

• Needs to be a self-starter who has led requirements sessions. Ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong understanding of the requirements analysis lifecycle, Data analysis, data governance, Financial experience and strong foundational RDBMS expertise.
• The emphasis is on business and data analysis, as opposed to a technology skillset (developers, DBS, etc.).
• Additional responsibilities may include data management, data lineage/metadata, data controls & data checks; experience in data control governance; data defect/issue/deficiency remediation; documenting data flows/process flows
• Work effort coordination/management experience, current process assessment and improvement experience
• Experience writing business requirements as JIRA stories, Agile Scrum & Kanban environments
• Strong data profiling and data analytics
• Strong Teradata experience
• Strong SQL writing experience (joins, unions etc)

Teradata and BiG Query are nice to have - but no matter the platform need to be able to understand and be very fluent with SQL.

MongoDB experience and familiarity to understand collections and JSON is a plus.

The ideal candidate is a self-starting business and data analyst with strong experience leading requirements gathering sessions and owning the requirements analysis lifecycle end-to-end. The role emphasizes business and data analysis over pure technical development and requires experience working with financial data, performing data profiling and analytics, and translating business needs into clear JIRA user stories. The candidate should have a solid foundation in relational databases, strong SQL skills (including joins, unions, and subqueries), and the ability to interpret pseudo-SQL logic. Experience with MongoDB, NoSQL data models, and JSON structures is required, along with familiarity in data management, data lineage, metadata, data controls, and issue remediation. The role also requires experience documenting data and process flows, coordinating work efforts, driving process improvements, and working effectively in Agile Scrum and Kanban environments.
