Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician who will travel 50% of the time, including occasional out-of-state trips by plane. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in clean rooms with equipment such as fume hoods and biosafety cabinets.
Responsibilities
Travel within a 4-hour radius of the location in WI and be prepared for out-of-state travel if needed.
Work in clean rooms and handle equipment like fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, medical HVAC systems, laminar flows, and autoclaves.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems.
Enter data into Excel spreadsheets and understand basic formulas.
Communicate effectively with pharmacists, biomedical engineers, and directors of biomedical systems.
Strive to exceed expectations and scale to a Technician role.
Assist in expanding and taking on more national accounts.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in a clean room environment.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Basic understanding of Excel and data entry.
Ability to travel extensively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Clean room certifications such as NSF or CETA are preferred, but not required.
A 2-year program or 4-year degree is preferred, but not required.
Driven, willing to learn, honest, and self-aware.
Work Environment
The role involves travelling to customer sites, predominantly in clean rooms, and working with various high-tech equipment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
