Schedule Details

• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Work Schedule: 4x10's from Monday to Friday
• Shifts: Monday-Friday, from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 30-minute lunch.
• Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience/skill set.
• Location: HICHC Kealakehe Dental
• Flexibility: Travel and flexibility are important for these roles.

About Us: At HICHC, we're dedicated to providing top-notch Dental services with a smile. Our team is passionate about making a difference in our community, and we're looking for a friendly and organized Patient Services Representative to join us!

What You'll Do:

Patient Reception:

• Be the friendly face that greets new and returning patients.
• Check in patients for their appointments and update their records.
• Provide general information and direct visitors to the right places.
• Answer calls and connect them to the appropriate staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and verify appointments.
• Keep track of patient encounters and appointments.

Patient Registration:

• Collect and update patient information.
• Prepare and assemble new patient health records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and personal income.
• Ensure patient charts are ready for appointments.

Patient Cashiering:

• Enter patient charge data and collect payments.
• Counsel patients who need assistance with payments.
• Maintain daily billing records and prepare bank deposits.
• Balance the cash drawer and resolve discrepancies.

Other Fun Stuff:

• Review sliding fee scale applications with patients.
• Assist with various tasks to keep our health center running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

• No prior experience required! We provide on-the-job training.
• High School graduate or GED certificate.
• Basic knowledge of office procedures.
• Computer skills for data entry and report generation.
• Ability to multitask and work under supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of people.
• A team player with high integrity and a friendly attitude.
