Salary Range: $75000 / Year

Workers' Comp Billing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Manage billing submissions and appeals with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Input billing information into the system for seamless processing
  • Address client appeals by gathering necessary documentation and adhering to workflows
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines to prevent revenue loss
  • Handle approximately 600 client billings per month
Workers' Comp Billing Specialist Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience as a billing specialist within Workers Comp Defense
  • Recent billing experience in Workers Comp Defense
  • Proficiency with software such as Bottom Line, Legal Exchange, Miratech, LegalX, Ascent, and CounselLink
  • Technological aptitude is required as the firm operates in a paperless environment
  • Merris case experience, a case management system preferred
