The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
1-2 years of prior hotel guest services experience and a strong ability to solve problems independently.

Shift Pattern: Varied (Union role) - AM PM. Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays. Shifts will depend on business levels and seniority scheduling.
Pay Rate Range: $24.98 - $27.75

What Will You Be Doing?
Your role will involve organizing and overseeing all tour group arrivals and ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Responsibilities will include:

  • Completing the registration process by efficiently managing guest information and ensuring special requests are met. Pre-block unique accommodations and prepare welcome folders with necessary materials.
  • Verifying credit card authorizations and handling various forms of payment, ensuring accurate posting of charges to guest rooms.
  • Answering phones with a positive demeanor, retrieving messages, and ensuring timely communication to guests.
  • Remaining calm and alert during busy periods, effectively resolving any complications that may arise.
  • Addressing guest complaints with thorough research and providing effective solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.

What Are We Looking For?

EDUCATION

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Four (4) year college degree preferred, especially in foreign languages.

EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of prior guest services experience is preferred.

GROOMING
All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, with specific uniform guidelines provided during orientation.

OTHER
Additional language abilities are preferred.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Candidates must demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Strong ability to perform moderate mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to deal with both internal and external customers with patience and diplomacy.
  • The ability to stand and move throughout the front office while performing essential job functions.
  • Proficiency in reading, listening, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Competency in accurately inputting information into a moderately complex computer system.
