Job Description
This role is responsible for executing all steps in the accounts payable (AP) process on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations and company policies.

Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Support the full cycle AP process including entering invoices into the accounting system, posting vouchers, issuing checks and generating ACH payments.
  • Manage the AP invoicing mailbox ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendor and employees.
  • Route and track invoices for electronic signatures and approvals.
  • Maintain AP records and associated filing systems; enters data into computer systems; updates and reconciles accounts, compiles documentation, and generates reports.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner, reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
  • Retrieve documents to support customer invoicing, audit, and research.
  • Assist in standardizing procedures to generate efficiency.
  • Perform the pay cycles to generate payments for corporate suppliers, employee reimbursements and subsidiary client refunds.
  • Incumbent transmits cash forecasting and remittance advices for electronic payments.
  • Provide data entry, accounting support and communicating with company vendors in terms of invoice processing and payment.
  • Support sales and use tax filings.
  • Maintain communication with internal parties both in the Accounting Department and with other departments.
  • Match and enter all Purchase Order invoices from inventory and non-inventory vendors, research and resolve all quantity and price variances with urgency and maintain excellent communication with the vendor.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Execute the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Profile Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Typically, five years of experience in a relevant role required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Some knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.


Location: Remote

Travel Expectations: 5%
Hours: Standard office hours are 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday -Friday

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:
$59,700- $99,500
