As a Senior Product Manager for Hardware Platform Administration, you will take ownership of our sensor portfolio including storage solutions and virtual appliances along with the administration interfaces that enable customers to deploy, manage, and optimize their NDR environments./ppThis role offers an excellent opportunity to shape both the foundation and the management experience of our security platform while working with cutting-edge hardware and virtualization technologies. Join us in building the infrastructure that powers next-generation security visibility and detection capabilities./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliOwn the product strategy and roadmap for packet sensors, packet stores, and record stores that power our NDR platform/liliLead the development of platform administration capabilities, including system configuration, network settings, and access management/liliDrive requirements for both physical hardware appliances and virtual/cloud-based sensor solutions leveraging major public cloud providers/liliLead SASE integration initiatives to expand platform capabilities and market reach to add to our best-in-market visibility/liliDefine and improve platform management experiences, including health monitoring, diagnostics, firmware updates, and system administration/liliEnhance administrative workflows for packet captures, datastore management, and appliance settings, with a focus on scaling management across multiple sensors and environments/liliCoordinate with OEM providers on hardware specifications, inventory management, and forecasting/liliBuild relationships with customers, prospects, and internal teams to gather requirements and validate product direction/liliTranslate technical platform capabilities into clear business value for customers and stakeholders/liliPartner closely with engineering and UX teams to deliver intuitive and powerful platform management tools/li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred/lili5+ years of product management experience, with significant focus on data center networking, hardware platforms, virtualization, or storage systems/liliKnowledge of packet capture technologies, network sensors, or similar networking hardware/liliExperience with enterprise system administration, network management interfaces, and platform configuration/liliUnderstanding of authentication systems, user management, and access control frameworks/liliProven track record of successful product launches involving hardware or virtual appliances/liliStrong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities/liliExcellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliExperience with network detection and response (NDR) or similar security technologies/liliKnowledge of SASE architectures and integration approaches/liliFamiliarity with SAN/ESU technologies and enterprise storage solutions/liliUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure and hybrid deployment models/liliExperience with API design for platform administration and integration/liliBackground in network security, traffic analysis, or related fields/liliExperience designing administrative UIs and system management workflows/li/ulpThe salary for this role is 150,000 -180,000 + bonus + benefits/ph3About ExtraHop/h3pExtraHop is the cybersecurity partner enterprises trust to reveal the unknown and unmask the attack.
