Position Summary

The Apprentice Facilities Technician will assist with the completion of basic and moderate levels of preventive maintenance, work orders, and minor renovations and to include the following trades:HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, temperature controls, lighting and electrical.

• Ability to effectively communicate with campus customers and technicians
• Ability to learn how to effectively problem solve and troubleshoot issues and problems

Relevant coursework/specialized training or equivalent

Formal training in a vocational or trade school specifically related to maintenance operations preferred. Completion of maintenance training in plumbing, electrical systems or refrigeration preferred.
