Material Handler II
Aiken SC
Contract - 1st Shift, 3/12
Hours: 5am-5:30pm, Fri-Sunday
Pay Rate: $23.12/Hr.
Benefits: overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401k
REQUIREMENTS:
- US Citizenship
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of forklift operation experience
- Proficient Forklift Operator (stand up lifts and sit down lifts.)
- Experience in manufacturing or warehousing. Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work with a team.
- Availability to work overtime
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to physically lift objects up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to be on their feet for less than half of the shift
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Possess basic math skills
- Possess some computer skills,
- Our client is seeking Material Handlers to safely and accurately pick parts, store, package, ship, and support manufacturing with material flow.
- Candidate must be able to operate a forklift and perform job in a safe and timely manner.
- Candidates with manufacturing, inventory control, and warehouse experience are preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years of forklift operation experience.
- Candidate will not be on forklift all shift, requriing manual or physical work at times.
- Experience with Oracle software system
- Experience with handheld scanners
- Experience operating different types and sizes of forklifts
- Experience transporting heavy/irregular loads
- Cycle Counting or inventory control experience
