The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting functions within Hawai'i Water Service . The Accounting Manager coordinates and manages HWSs monthly and annual financial reporting efforts with California Water Groups (CWT) Customer Support Services (CSS) Team, leads the preparation of the annual revenue forecasts and related operational expense budgets, analyzes Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) for capitalization of assets, interfaces with CSS regarding various internal and audit requirements, and assists in the preparation of rate case filings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage daily operations: Oversee the smooth running of accounting department activities, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and the monthly close process and cashflow. Financial reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
